Welcome to the Unified Integrated and Transformation Enterprise portal where our mission is to enable Army modernization through agile acquisition, innovation, common architecture, and modular Open System Approach (MOSA) driving synchronization across the Project Management Offices to deliver capability faster to the Warfighter. Our vision is to provide enterprise tools and services across PEO STRI to enable Army Modernization. The UnITE portal is the collaborative face of that effort directed to all stakeholders where we provide visibility into shared assets, products, governance processes, and support.

LT2 PRODUCT LINE

The LT2 Product Line focuses on live-training domain requirements to maximize component reuse, reduce fielding time, minimize programmatic costs, and enhance training benefits afforded to the warfighter. It includes live training systems in support of Combat Training Center (CTC) training, Home Station training, Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT) training, instrumented live-fire range training, and deployed training. The LT2 product line is comprised of programs that use the Common Training Instrumentation Architecture (CTIA), the Future Army System of Integrated Targets (FASIT) architecture, and the LT2- CTIA components and services to implement the various product instantiations including:

PRODUCT LINE VISION

Through successful execution of the product line strategy, LT2 will deliver a set of assets that provide integrated and interoperable training solutions for live collective training across the CTC, Home Station, deployed, and joint training domains. The LT2 product line vision is captured in the LT2 products and in the following program objectives:

Produce a product line architecture that completely supports live instrumentation, Tactical Engagement Simulation System (TESS), targetry, domain-specific services, and associated equipment for live training within the Army’s doctrine-based training process

→

Engineer a product line process and associated standards, tools, rules, and guidelines that foster development of both components and products that are compliant with the product line architecture

→

Produce a set of common plug-and-play applications in the product line architecture that are applicable across a wide range of LT2 programs

→

Encourage development of common applications and products and capture convincing evidence of the benefits of a product line approach

→

Provide a flexible architectural environment that will evolve to support all Army live training simulation systems, as well as integrate with emerging Army and joint architectures such as the Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) and the Live, Virtual, Constructive Integrating Architecture (LVC-IA)
